Creflo Dollar: Understanding Before and After the Cross Truths

We bring you today’s message from Pastor Creflo Dollar, which is titled “Understanding Before and After the Cross Truths.” The text for the message is from Romans 6:14. “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but you’re under grace.”

Pastor Dollar teaches us in this message about understanding the truth before and after the death of Jesus Christ. Theree are some things that we have to understand in order to see theme properly. You know, some people have sight and others have vision, and we need to be able to understand what’s going on here, so verse 14 says that we are now living under grace, not under the law. We have to know that we are blessed as long as Jesus is blessed. If Jesus is still the all-right sacrifice, and if the sacrifice is good, then we are good. You have to accept your invitation to the grace life that Jesus has made available to us through his blood on the cross. Theree are some things that we have to understand in order to see theme properly. Some people have sight and others have vision, and we need to be able to understand that sin can have dominion over you if you are operating by the Mosaic law. People cringe when they hear about operating by the law because there are still a lot of Christians who believe that there’s nothing wrong with operating by the law. The problem with operating by the Mosaic Law is that you are operating by the Mosaic Law, which is not just, you know, moral law. ceremonial law, which deals with doing sacrifices; civil law; all three of those make up the Mosaic Law, but the Ten Commandments, which is the moral law of God; it’s eternal; it’s who God is; it’s his character; and you will hear it repeated by Paul in the New Testament except for the one about the Sabbath because Jesus is our Sabbath. Paul said it is still good for you to honor your mother and father, so the difference here is that the Mosaic law is something that is being administered by rule-keeping, so you got the ten commandments, which represent the moral law of God, but it’s like, Okay, you know, thou shalt not commit adultery. Now do these 20 things to see if you can make that come to pass. So the rule-keeping was the administrator trying to accomplish morality in your life, and it failed miserably, so Paul begins to repeat the moral law of God, but now it is going to be administered by the Holy Spirit.
