Dr. David Jeremiah shares this sermon titled “Be The Good News” which is taken from Matthew 24.
The scripture tell us that you are the light of the world. Jesus said, “Let your light shine so that men will see the good works and glorify your father in heaven. Put in another way, incorporate the gospel into your life.
As the people of God, we need to live our life in such a way that people will see a significant difference in you. The difference is because of your relationship with Jesus. If your who;e goal in life is to morph into the culture then you are a secret service christian. There is no way that you will make an impact because God does not use people like that. You have to be the person that exhibits the gospel in your life.
In these days of devastation, war, strife, deception and lawlessness, Jesus has given us a prophecy. This prophecy is to prepare us for what is to come. It is geared towards helping us thrive in these times and not just to survive.
The message of Jesus is to make us stronger and better equipped to be a light in the world around us; the world of the end.
From Matthew 24, Jesus predicted a time when the gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to the ends of the earth. The gospel is that Jesus, the son of Go, came to this earth and paid the penalty for the whole world. He pointed that those who believe in Jesus enter into a living relationship with God by Grace and through faith.
Next, Dr. Jeremiah spoke about rapture and the tribulation that will follow right after. The rapture will happen and the people of God will go to heaven, immediately after that comes the great tribulation.
He also talked about the need for messengers of the gospel. There are people who are ready to be saved, but they just need to hear the gospel.
We are the people to carry the gospel to the people. The first way we can do is by exhibiting it in our lives. As Christians, we have become the embodiment of the gospel and that means we have to be different.
There has to be a difference or contrast between a person who is really walking with God and the rest of the people of the world.
