The Texas Panhandle is struggling to recover after wildfires tore through the region, consuming over 500,000 acres and leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Homes, farms, and businesses have been reduced to ashes, displacing families and jeopardizing livelihoods.

In response to this unfolding crisis, Hand of Hope, a humanitarian organization led by renowned speaker and author Joyce Meyer, has partnered with Encounter Church Amarillo to provide much-needed assistance to those affected by the fires.

The partnership Meyer announced in a recent social media post aims to provide essential supplies to the affected families. Additionally, the partnership will support the courageous first responders battling the blazes on the front lines.

“In response, Hand of Hope is partnering with Encounter Church Amarillo to extend a helping hand to those in need by providing essential supplies to the affected families,” the social media post reads. “And supporting the brave first responders battling the flames on the front lines.”

The organization is subsequently calling for prayers from the community for the well-being of those impacted by the fires. “Please join us in praying for those affected,” they solicit.

Hand of Hope is Joyce Meyer Ministries’ global mission arm. The non-profit organization reaches across the globe offering help and hope to those in need. Fueled by its mission to alleviate human suffering and support Christian growth, it partners with various organizations to enact positive change.

Earlier this month, it partnered with the La Dream Center to provide relief for victims of California torrential rain. Shortly after, Hand of Hope partnered with Life Church Santiago to provide water and other essential items to those affected by the recent fire outbreak in Chile.
