Hillsong Conference 2024 Sydney Announces Guest Contributors
Hillsong Church, led by Phil and Lucinda Dooley after the resignation of its founder, Brian Houston in 2022, has announced two powerhouse guest contributors for their upcoming Hillsong Conference 2024 in Sydney, Australia.
The Hillsong Conference is Australia’s largest annual conference. It is a mid-year, week-long Christian conference held in Sydney, Australia, followed by a smaller, three-day event in London later in the year.
The guest contributors were announced via the church’s social media pages, generating excitement among attendees.
The first speaker is veteran pastor Darrell Johnson, pastor at The Way Church and the Canadian Church Leaders Network. “We are thrilled to announce that the incredible Darrell Johnson will be joining us as a guest contributor at Hillsong Conference 2024 Sydney,” the announcement read.
With over 50 years of experience preaching the gospel, Johnson brings a wealth of knowledge to the conference. He has served congregations worldwide and taught at prestigious seminaries. He also authored eight impactful books, including “Discipleship on the Edge” and his latest, “That You May Live.” His vast wisdom and experience will be a highlight of the conference.
Joining Johnson is Chris Mathebula of Hope Restoration Ministries. “We are thrilled to announce that the incredible Chris Mathebula will be joining us as a guest contributor at Hillsong Conference 2024 Sydney,” Hillsong Church’s social media announcement reads.
Mathebula boasts over 20 years of preaching experience and a history of leading impactful ministries. He founded Hope Restoration Ministries, which operates across seven campuses in Gauteng, South Africa. Additionally, he established the “People Matter to God Foundation” and the “Devoted Citizen Movement.”
The conference, themed “Always-Joy,” will be held from July 9th to 11th at the Hillsong Convention Centre in Sydney. Registration details can be found on the Hillsong Church website.
