Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joel Osteen titled “You Are Going to Laugh Again.” Pastor Joel teaches us that we all go through a season of struggle (the loss of a loved one, a relationship that didn’t work out, and dealing with an illness). We might think that the struggle is forever, but God didn’t promise us that we would ever struggle and that the suffering would not last. The struggle is not how your story is going to end. God knows what you’re going through, but he will never leave you in your suffering.
You may be in a season of suffering and feel trapped, but God himself is about to step in and bless you. Your mourning will turn into dancing, and your weeping will turn to laughter. Don’t believe those lies that you will always be lonely and always be brokenhearted; just know that your time is coming for God to do wonders. Joy is coming, and you will laugh; you will love again; you will trust God; and you will see God’s blessings in a way that will make you laugh. Don’t you ever think that suffering is your destiny? The pain might be too much for you, but God is working behind the scenes.
Sometimes, most of us think that weeping makes us weak, but God made us to feel emotions. You may go through a season of weeping, and it’s too much to carry, but weeping is not a lack of faith; it means that your heart is working and that you care deeply. God has already planned the end of your suffering and your release from whatever has trapped you. God is not going to let someone continue to mistreat you. It may be too much for you, but it’s not too much for God. The favor of God will turn your life around and bless you; God is so merciful that he will not let the suffering continue.
