You don’t have to know so much to be saved; just know that he died for your sins and he rose again for your justification, and confessing him as your Savior and Lord, you are saved. That’s all you need to know.
But in knowing more about the Lord, in knowing the various aspects of the work of Jesus at the cross, you receive more of what he did for you at the cross. You and your families are able to enjoy all that he did for you at the cross. Jesus says to you, “Peace I leave with you, I bequeath to you. My peace I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
The blood of Jesus has fully met all the claims of God’s righteousness and holiness from you and from your family. All the demands and the requirements that a thrice holy God wants and demands–and commands from you, Christ has fulfilled
to the satisfaction of God.
