We bring you today’s message from Pastor Joyce Meyer, which is titled “Battlefield of the Mind.” The text for the message is from 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high and lofty thing that exalts itself against the true knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity under the obedience of Jesus Christ.”
Pastor Joyce teaches us in this message about the battlefield of the mind and why we have to take it seriously. When we lose the battle of the mind, the Devil will bring a lot of negative things into our lives. The devil is trying his best to win the mind of the battle because he knows that he can have access to our lives when he wins. As Christians, we have to depend on God and trust in him so deeply that nothing negative can happen in our lives. We have to know that God loves us so much and that he’s always with us; we are never alone. When we are facing hard times, it is easy to give in to the negativity, but we have to know that God can change any situation in our lives. We have to know that we can do our own thinking and that we don’t have to think anything or whatever falls into our heads.
We can actually cast the negative thought down and choose to think something good. We have a responsibility. Satan will try to put things in your mind because the mind is the battlefield, and it will go on all of your life. Our responsibility when those things come is to pray for the Holy Spirit to help you recognize them right away. When negative thoughts come, it’s your responsibility to cast them down and replace them, because if you leave your head empty,
