Therefore some of us don’t feel right about ourselves and that is wrong because we have been made right with God through the blood of Jesus Christ. She tells us that righteousness is absolutely an amazing gift from God.
- What are the benefits of knowing that you’ve been made right with God? It changes your behavior, it changes the way you feel about yourself, Anytime you change the way you feel about yourself, it begins to change your behavior. Some of us have problems and we think that something else is causing them, but one of the biggest problems that all people have is the way we feel about ourselves.
You can spend our whole life not liking ourselves and not even know that we don’t like ourselves, because that is he only way we’ve ever felt but that’s not God’s will for us, he wants us to live our best life.
- What kind of relationship do you have with yourself? A lot of people can’t stand themselves and have to deal with self-rejection and self-hatred, because of the things they have experienced in the past, then convinces them that something is wrong with them. If you spend your life trying to give everybody what they want from you, you’re going to lose yourself.
You have to break out of that self-hatred and one of the best ways to do that is first learn who you are in Christ, we are made right in him. When you begin to believe that you’re righteousness of God in Christ there’s going to be a little bit battle because the devil does not want you to know that, he does not want you to have a good attitude toward yourself.
