His ancestors include Italian Catholics and German Mennonites, including one named Henry Brown. Henry Brown served as the Anabaptist Mennonite movement’s first missionary to China in 1909.
Evangelist Matt encountered Christ at a very young age, during a revival that took place in the town of Delano, Minnesota. Today, he is one of the most popular evangelists in America.
