What does it mean to be generous? It is the showing a readiness to give more of something, especially money, than is strictly necessary or expected. In this message, Pastor Jabin teaches us the principles concerning generosity that will change your life.
One principle of generosity is that it is service unto the Lord. From the scripture we see Jesus validating the offering of Martha thereby communicating that her offerings was supernatural. Pastor Jabin tell us that offerings move our heart and thereby move God. If you have never felt this way then know that you have not given enough. ‘
one thing about Love is that it goes hand in hand with generosity. The proof of love is generosity and Jesus tell us that generous giving is for him. giving is not just physical but supernatural. Giving to the body of Christ is different from when you give to the pastor. When you give to the Church then you are giving to God.
In the book of Hebrews 7:8, the bible tell us that “Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. ” What does it mean? It all point to the supernatural of giving to the Lord.
Another thing about giving is that we give with the faith that it doesn’t stay here. Like a seed planted in the soil it disappears into our future. Your giving is not about now but the future.
