Pastor Sheryl Brady shares this new sermon titled “Everything Shifts at Shiloh” where she teaches that sometimes, life will make you fight, whether or not you’re naturally inclined to do so. She brought our attention to 1 Samuel 1:2 which is about Elkanah and his two wives, Hannah and Peninnah. Childlessness grieved Hannah and she was tormented by Peninnah for it. During their annual family trip Shiloh, Hannah finally reached her breaking point, which was her turning point. Desperate for change, she cried out to God.
This is a reminder that we can all survive the interruptions, disappointments and frustrations of life. We learn that although we may face sorrows, they are preparing us for tomorrow’s success. This message is taken from the scripture: 1 Samuel 1: 2-18(KJV).
