Peter talks about salvation, he talks about how we have obtained righteousness of God and our savior Jesus Christ. we should be happy God saved us that we’ve got a place in God.
We should not walk around with fear of death, because we in covenant with God, everything is going to be okay. Salvation is a wonderful thing his grace will always be spectacular.
Peter talked about salvation, spiritual growth, hope, transformation, because when we grow spiritual growth ultimately is growing in the knowledge of Jesus, because in him the fullness of God dwells. It’s not about how many passages of the bible you can quote, the enemy can quote the bible too, spiritual growth is not how proficient we are in speaking in tongues. Spiritual growth has to do with you and i growing in the knowledge of Jesus
Hope says giving exceeding great and precious promises, when you get saved God gives you promises, because he wants to activate your hope , because hopeful person is an empowered person , faith filled person, is a person who the devil cannot shake. The one who gave us hope is in us, Christ is in us. This hope that won’t disappoint, that will speak and show up in our life.
We should never throw away our hope, the bible said cast not away your confidence, that’s your hope, that’s your expectation because their is reward in the end of the hope. Take your hope back.
God is looking for some people that will walk with him, so succinctly that they will allow God to order their steps and they will follow that instruction so perfectly.
