Shepherd Bushiri declares 1st April ‘Saint Israella Day’ after his 8-year-old daughter who passed on two years ago.
The founding pastor of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church has taken to his Instagram to declare the 1st day of April ‘Saint Israella Day’. This however was in memory of his late daughter who died on 29th March 2021. He shared several photos of himself with Israella as well as a photo of the entire family. Bushiri went on to disclose in the caption that his daughter was his “best friend and prayer partner.
“Furthermore, he appreciated God that she is consistently in his heart. “I thank my God because I always remember you. Philippians 1 vs 3.” He wrote. Conclusively, Bushiri declared that it is Israella’s day, adding that her demise shall always be commemorated. “It is happy Saint Israella Day in our hearts. We shall always celebrate her departure into glory” He wrote.
From all indications, Israella was so dear to Bushiri. She always was seen together with his father in most of his pictures. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, while commemorating Israella, Shepherd Bushiri stated that he was delighted to have raised her. “I will always be a proud Father. And I will always praise God for allowing my wife and I to raise an angel in our home.” He stated. He also disclosed her memorial on Saturday.
“Dear family and friends. Please join my wife and me, along with other saints and the church at large, in Ntcheu, my home district, as we will be hosting her memorial this coming Saturday”. He wrote.
Israella Bushiri is the first daughter of the Malawian pastor. She died on 29th Mach 2021 while receiving medical treatment in Kenya.
