Shepherd Bushiri Laments Over Effects of Flooding in Malawi

Shepherd Bushiri Laments over the effects of the catastrophic flooding in Malawi after his visit to the affected areas. The founder and senior pastor of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, had on 31st December 2023 prophesized about flooding that would hit Malawi. He however had warned the church to pray against the disaster.

Consequently, barely two months after his prophecy, Malawi experienced terrible flooding in some of its states. The flooding reportedly occurred on 12th March 2023. Bushiri while recalling his prophecy and its fulfillment in an Instagram post yesterday, had stated that he would be visiting the affected areas today.

He however kept to his words as he took to his Instagram page today to disclose his arrival in the flood-affected areas. On the post, he had beckoned on the people of God to join the church in praying for Malawi. He went on to lament on the horrible effect of the flood in the visited areas.

The Malawian prophet made known that the disaster was a historic one. Reporting that while it claimed hundreds of lives, hundreds were yet to be found and thousands were misplaced. Furthermore, he stated that knowing the number of flood-affected persons was disheartening. Conclusively, Bushiri again urged the people of God to pray for Malawi.

“Wherever you are, Please join us in prayer for Malawi. We have finally arrived in the affected areas and these floods are a historic disaster. Over 300 people have died, and over 200 are still missing. Between 9,000 to 11,000 have been displaced. It is sad to hear of the estimated 14 districts, and over 140,000 people affected by the floods. Pray for Malawi!” He wrote.

We hope God comes through for the Malawians during this trying period.
