Steven Furtick: With God, There’s Always A Way

Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Steven Furtick titled, “With God, There’s Always A Way.”

Pastor Furtick teaches us in this message about trusting God and knowing that there is always a way. Many times in our lives, even when things don’t go the way we want them to or when things happen in a really horrible way, Pastor Furtick said he noticed a lot of people still find a way through that to rejoice, to redeem the situation, and to show God’s glory in it. And that always inspires me. When the healing didn’t come or the protection wasn’t there and the worst thing happened, there are three people that I think about who moved forward. And they moved forward with mourning and broken hearts, never quite the same again. But when they say, “With God, there’s always a way,” that’s what they mean. don’t mean there’s always a way to avoid suffering, because Jesus went on a road that we call Via Delarosa, the way of suffering, to the cross. And he prayed, “If there is any other way, Father, let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, not my will but yours be done.” So, Jesus himself shows us that the way to the truth and the life is through Him, the One who is the way. This shows us that the way to our salvation was through His cross. So, we’re not saying with God there’s always a way around suffering, but there is always a way through whatever God leads you through. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me.”

We have to know and understand that having God does not mean that bad things will never happen to us, but having him will help us go through them with peace that passes all understanding. God loves us, and some situations are meant to shape us and make us better in life. Depending on God is the only way that we can survive any situation and still have a sound mind.
