T.D Jakes closes out Women’s History Month honoring wife

T.D Jakes closes out Women’s History Month honoring his lovely wife Serita Jakes as he dedicates his new book ‘Disruptive Thinking’ to her.

The founding Bishop of Potters House Church has taken to his Instagram to admire his wife Serita Jakes. This, however, he did to mark the end of the Month of March which is widely known as Women’s Month.

He shared a lovely photo of himself and his wife and went on to disclose that celebrating his wife was the best way to end the month. “There isn’t more fitting way to close out Women’s History Month than to honor my lovely wife and best friend @Seritajakes,” he wrote. Jakes went on to gush over his wife “Baby”, he wrote, “You and our five amazing kids are my “why” behind everything I do. You Inspire me every day with your unending graciousness and selfless leadership”.

“Throughout the month, I have been honoring disruptive thinkers in my life, so let me brag on this wife for a second,” Jakes noted, disclosing that 65-year-old Serita had obtained a degree and also started a business at 60. He added that she implemented the first-ever Best Buddies at Potters House Church.

“She obtained her degree and started a business after she turned 60. She implemented Best Buddies at @tphdallas, which is the first of its kind in this space.” Bishop Jakes wrote, further stating that she led the women to women’s movement and as well partnered with her daughter, Sarah Jakes Robert.

” I could go on and on. She’s an unstoppable force of God and an inspiring leader of countless women” Jakes further gushed. Conclusively, he divulged that he dedicated his new book “Disruptive Thinking” to his beloved wife. “I’m dedicating my new book, “Disruptive Thinking,” to her” he wrote.
