These men expressed exceptional faith in God at the various times in their life. They obeyed God and trusted in God when it looked ridiculous. They dropped logic and picked up faith. These folks by great faith achieved greatness and wounded up in the hall of faith even though they had weak spots in their life. However, when they were willing to obey, God really used them.
Once you are willing to obey, God is going to use you and recognize you by what you have done and achieved by faith. The reason why God allows a negative obstacle is to know if you will face it by faith or by sight. If you face it by faith, God joins with you. If you choose to do it by sight then you are all alone.
