Pastor Dollar teaches us in this message about opinions and why we have to know what opinions we have about ourselves. Whether it’s good or bad, you still, you know, trust God. You’re still relying on God. We’re trusting in the Lord, we’re totally depending on God, and we trust that all is well in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The question, “What opinion do you have of yourself?” is really important. What opinion do you have of yourself? And that’s where Satan really wants to attack you. He wants to attack you where your identity, um, your self-esteem, is concerned. Your identity has always been a place where Satan wants to attack identity. He attacked Adam’s identity. He even tried to attack Jesus’s identity. He’s after your identity, and so we need an answer to this question, “What opinion do you have of yourself?”
Without hypocrisy, wisdom and understanding are better than silver and gold, and nothing I desire can compare with them. We have to know that having the right opinion of ourselves is really important. The Devil wants us to have the wrong opinion about ourselves because we don’t know who we are in Jesus Christ. God loves us so much, and we know who we are in Jesus Christ by depending on him. Having emotional peace is one of the things that God wants us to have, and he has made it available for us through the blood of Jesus. Knowing who we are in Christ Jesus is really going to help us have the right opinion of ourselves. If we have the wrong opinion of who we are, it is going to affect us in every area of our lives, and we have to change it by getting to know ourselves in Jesus Christ and what God has said about us in his words.
