Pastor Dharius teaches us in this message about You know what amen means? It means let it be so. Every time you say amen, you’re saying let it be so. When you say amen, that’s your faith talking. Faith is saying, I receive. Faith is saying, I have discerned that if no one else on my road wants that, I want that for my life. How many believe this is your season for freedom? Delilah said to Samson, How can you say I love you when you won’t confide in me? Never confuse love with manipulation.
In Judges 14:15–17, “she says Delilah says to Samson, If you love me, why won’t you confide in me right now? This is the third time you’ve made a fool of me and haven’t told me the secret to your strength?” So she has confused love with trust. You can only confide in someone you trust because you cannot love someone who is not trustworthy. day after day until he was sick to death of it, so he told her everything: No razor has ever been used on my head because I’ve been a Nazarite dedicated to God from my mother’s womb, and if my head was shaved, my strength would leave me and I would become as weak as any other. When Delilah saw that he had told her everything, she sent word to the rulers of the Philistines: Come back once more; he’s told me everything. So the rulers of the Philistines returned with the silver in their hands, and after putting him to sleep on her lap, she called for someone to shave off the seven braids of his hair and so began to subdue him, and his strength left him.
Your presence on this planet has purpose. You’re not the consequence of some Cosmic coincidence; you’re not the result of some relational accident. Your parents may not have planned you; they may have been surprised by your arrival, but the circumstances of your birth may not have. You have to know that just because people didn’t plan your arrival doesn’t mean God wasn’t involved in your arrival, and even if your birth was the consequence of messy circumstances, God is Not intimidated by mess, and he takes mess and turns it into miracles. Your purpose on this planet has a purpose.
