Pastor Dharius teaches us in this message about the lessons we have to learn for our future. If we want to have a better future, we have to know certain things that will help us become better. Sometimes God will send the lion and the bear, but we’re going to say this is bad timing because we don’t know that God is using the lion and the bear to cultivate confidence in us. God sent the lion and bear to David so that he could prepare us for the time he would face Goliath and not have doubt. God does the same to us; he allows us to go through hard times so that we can come out stronger and better. so that when you have to deal with Goliath, you have no doubts because you know something about this season because of what you went through.
The problem is that we and God don’t always agree on the timing, but God’s like, I’m so much God, I am so sovereign that I even arranged for you to experience certain problems at the best time for you to experience them.” We just don’t always agree about the best time. God says I’m sending you certain problems because there are certain things you need to learn in this season so you will know them in the next. He says what you’re learning in this season is not for this season; what you’re learning in this season is for the next because you don’t want to get to the next and you need to know it, and you’re trying to learn it. We have to know that there is something to learn in every situation because that will prepare us for the next chapter of our lives.
