Greg Laurie Solicits Mission Support for Harvest Church: Harvest church founder and senior pastor Greg Laurie has taken to social media to solicit support for Harvest Church as it continues to embark on its mission of spreading the good news.

Speaking in a Tuesday Instagram video, Laurie charges individuals to consider supporting Harvest church to enable them to spread the gospel in the coming year. He explained that it is the support  they receive from people that “enables us to continue to do what God has called us to do”

“Today is Giving Tuesday, and I want to ask you to join us in our mission to know God and make Him known this holiday season by giving a gift that will help us to spread the Good News to those who need it most,” Laurie wrote in the video caption.

In a Wednesday post, Laurie offered individuals who couldn’t donate on Giving Tuesday a last chance to partake in the donation.

“Giving Tuesday is almost over, so this is your last chance to join me in making a difference on this special day! I’ll always champion the gospel as the only source of true life change, and you have a chance today to amplify its reach with your gift today,” Laurie noted adding that the individuals can Give now at the link in his bio.

Giving Tuesday is a movement that encourages people to give back to their communities on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. The goal of Giving Tuesday is to encourage people to give back in whatever way they can, whether it’s volunteering their time, donating money, or simply spreading the word about the importance of giving.

On Thanksgiving Thursday, Harvest Church hosted a heartwarming Thanksgiving outreach at its Kumulani Campus, providing food, fellowship, and a sense of hope to over 1,200 individuals and families.

Thanksgiving Thursday is a celebration that serves as an opportunity to reflect on the blessings in one’s life and to express gratitude to those who have made our lives better. People also seize the opportunity to reach out to the needy in the community.
