Holly Furtick Pens A Heartfelt Appreciation Post For Husband: As pastor’s appreciation month draws near, Pastor Holly Furtick wife of Pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation Church has decided to score first on this one.
The beautiful Holly who is also a co-pastor at the elevation has taken to Instagram to express her appreciation to her pastor and husband, Pastor Steven Furtick.
She spoke about the weight of the responsibility that he carries and how she is privileged to see that side of him that no one else does.
“Every six days he has to speak on behalf of God. The weight of that responsibility is so heavy. Each week, I watch him dig and dig and dig until he finds what he feels will reach people right where they are. Every Sunday, I take notes on the front row as he delivers messages that are authentic and vulnerable. Messages that I know come directly from the questions he has and the things he is wrestling with.”.
Holly appreciated Pastor Steven for being the reason she is a better Christian, mom and wife and his teachings have shaped her relationship with God.
“His teachings over the past (almost) 25 years have shaped my relationship with God. He has taught me how to read the Bible with color and imagination and to dig beyond the surface to find a deeper meaning in the text. The mom, wife, friend, teacher and pastor that I am today is largely due to the hours and hours that I have spent under this man’s teaching.”.
In the end she prayed that God will continuously refill Pastor Steven as he pours into every one and did not fail to express that she loves him as well.
