Jentezen Franklin: God’s Economy System

Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Jentezen Franklin titled, “God’s Economy System.” The text for the message is taken from 2 Corinthians 12:1–15.

Pastor Jentezen tells us that each of us is meant to serve our generation; if we don’t like the way things are, we are called in every generation. Whatever we do in life, we’re here to serve. The Bible says that David served his generation in the will of God. What happens to some people on earth is that they allow their future to get behind them instead of in front of them.

He pointed out that God’s got great things ahead for all of us. We all have a reason why God put us in this generation; we are to serve and bring changes to our generation. In God’s economy, he does not spend money; he spends people. When God is going to do something in the world, he doesn’t buy it with money; he doesn’t put silver and gold in his pocket; he puts us in his pocket, and then he uses us to bring the change he wants in the world. God doesn’t spend money; he spends us.

He pointed out that if God is spending us over a situation, it’s only because he’s buying somebody. As a parent, if you feel spent and used up, just know that’s part of the process. God used Steven to purchase Saul; Soul was the man responsible for Steven’s death, but no one could have predicted that Saul would go on to become the great Apostle Paul; he was the man persecuting the church. God will use a good person to purchase a bad person because God sees value in people that no one else does. Jesus died on the cross so that we could be bought with his blood and saved.

This is a message that you will love.
