Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Jentezen Franklin titled, “Your Story Isn’t Finished.”
Pastor Jentezen tells us that we are like a book; some people will never read the Bible; we’re their only Bible that they will ever read; and they watch us go through things, reading our lives to see if we will curse God and die, or if we’ll stand in the middle of the trouble and say Jesus is still Lord and he’s our savior.
We are epistles that all men have learned and read; God did not write any bad books, and his story for you did not end, but in the end, if you do not give up on God, you will be an overcomer. We have to believe the words of God that have been spoken over our lives. We don’t have to believe the bad reports about us and our future; we have to take the prophecies and what God has said and go and fight good warfare.
It does not matter where we are coming from or what we have been through in the past, but we don’t have to look down on ourselves. We got to choose which report we were to believe, and the best report is the one from God. We began to believe that nothing could prevent what God had placed within us from being great. It is up to you to choose the life you want. When we go with God’s report, we are going to win the war. Persistence breaks resistance; when we won’t give up and decide not to quit, we’ll break through.
There is a difference between “good ideas” and “God’s ideas.” Good ideas might come to pass, but God’s ideas will. Sometimes we have to be able to discern between the two reports we have to believe. We don’t have to believe all the good ideas; we only have to believe God’s ideas. God allows us to go through things so that he can take us to the next level; all we have to do is trust God and obey him.
