Here is a message from Joyce Meyer, which is titled, “Dealing With Loneliness.” Pastor Joyce teaches in this message on how to deal with loneliness in our lives and what we can do is find something to do like help somebody else by joining a team that visits a nursing home or prison ministry. And we have to know that God is with us all the time, and the more we think about that, the more real it becomes. One of our greatest problems is that we think about what’s wrong instead of what’s right. The problem is that we think about the problem instead of the answer, and we have to learn to leave it to God no matter what we are waiting for. Maybe we want new partners and God wants us to do something else, and we are determined to get what we want, but it’s a lot better to ask God what he wants from us.
Loneliness can be dangerous because it can cause us to make desperate decisions that end up being stupid. As Christians, we are to leave it to God to decide for us because only He can make a perfect plan for our lives. When we get the feeling of being lonely, we have to get our minds busy with the work of God. Maybe it’s been years and you’re thinking it’s not going to happen, but God has the right person in your future already. We have to learn and make the decision to wait with the right attitude, not with a bitter heart. Learn a new skill, join a team, and visit a nursing home. This can get us busy and make God happy because we are serving him.
As Christians, we have to know and understand that God has the perfect timing for everything in our lives. When the time is right, the right person will show up.
