We bring to you today’s teaching from Pastor Joyce Meyer, titled “How Are You Using God’s Gift?” Pastor Joyce teaches us that real life does not consist in our possessions; it’s found in having the right relationship with God. Instead of being selfish and always trying to get something for yourself, you should be a blessing to other people. God is not for wasting; he wants us to use what he gives us wisely, and we all have resources like time, money, energy, abilities, talents, and gifts. Life itself is also a resource. It will be very sad when we are old and we look back and discover that we have wasted our resources. We should learn not to waste our resources so that we will not live with regrets.
We should not waste the resources that God has given us if we do not want to live with regrets in our old age. All things work together for the good of those who love God; we have to use our gifts and abilities to serve God and use our time wisely. Let the decisions that we make today affect tomorrow. Every day that we live, we have decisions to make, and we need to decide one of the most important things: what we’re going to do with our resources.
What are you doing with your time? We have to be careful about the things we spend our time on. In life, we are either investing or wasting our time.
How do you spend your money? She tells us that the best plan with money is to always spend, save, and give. God wants us to give some money to the needy, he wants us to spend some money on ourselves for things that we’ll enjoy, and he wants us to use wisdom and save some money for the future. We need to keep balance in all areas of our lives. We should know when not to over give and overspend.
