Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joyce Meyer titled, “Spending Time With God.” In this message, Pastor Meyer teach us that keeping God first is the most important thing we should do more often. We must keep God in his rightful place, which is first in our lives.The bible says we are to avoid idols and anything that would take God’s first place in our lives; we must keep a close eye on and examine our lives.
Some of the scriptures say, “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added unto you.” That’s a really awesome thing. We have to keep God first in our decision-making. The devil really fights us when it comes to spending regular time with God.
The devil does not want us to spend regular time with God on a daily basis because our time with God is more valuable than we can even imagine.
What do we get out of spending time with God? What are we supposed to do when we spend time with God?
The devil has turned it into something way more complicated; he loves to complicate things that are simple, because if he can make us think that it’s complicated to spend time with God, then he’s going to keep us from doing what we need to do.
Spending time with God is the answer to every problem that we have. We can’t stay strong in the Lord if we don’t spend time with him. If we feel that we don’t have a close relationship with God, we should seek him regularly with all our hearts. We need to show God that he’s more important in our lives than our meals, money, and businesses.
