What happens to when i give? Number 1 thing that happens is that When I give I join the few. Something amazing happens when a church decides to be a part of the few. One reason why generosity is difficult is because it is connected to our hearts. The bible made it clear that where your heart is, is where your riches are. Jesus tells us that your heart follows your treasure.
He tells us that One way to follow Jesus is through the ministry of giving. Luke 3:10-14 is where we see what repentance looks like. It portrays giving. If you want to know if Jesus has done something in your life then look at how you handle money.
We don’t give to purchase salvation but to thank God for salvation. Giving will help take the gospel to others so that they can be saved too.
When you give, you will received. You store up for yourself treasure every time you give. There is definitely a heavenly reward for the giver. Look at what Matthew 10:41 says ‘Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward”
Here is a quick reminder and something you should always remember, God is a giver and satan is a taker.
