When Christ was crucified, 12 noon, midday became midnight so that he can bear all that darkness, suffer for us, pay the price for our sins so that you and I can walk in eternal light.
That means we have been declared righteous and on that foundation, as we celebrate this resurrection day, remember Christ will not have been raised from the dead if you have not been declared righteous. Apart from your works, apart from your morality, apart from you, it’s got nothing to do with you. God declares you righteous in another, his Son. In all that Christ has done, in all that he has accomplished at the cross, God declares you righteous.
