The Enlightened Christian Gathering founder and pastor Shepherd Bushiri has been awarded by AsiaOne Magazine, the 2023 Greatest African Business Leader for his exceptional visionary leadership.
AsiaOne Magazine, an Indian-based international business and news magazine with a Pan-Asian presence conferred on the Malawian pastor and entrepreneur the award at Greatest Brands & Leaders 2023 Asia Americas Africa held on July 10, 2023, at The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Business Bay, Dubai.
“I am so delighted to inform you all that I have been awarded 2023 Greatest African Business Leader in Dubai for my exceptional visionary leadership, transformative vision, and profound impact on the African landscape through my Goshen City project and several other projects,” Bushiri announced on Wednesday’s Instagram post.
He further disclosed that Goshen City, Bushiri’s project aimed at creating 100 000 skilled and non-skilled jobs in the country “took the award of Greatest Brand For Sustainable Practice 2023.” He made known also that the Goshen City CEO Dorothy Pinyoloya was awarded the Greatest CEO of the Year.
“I welcome the recognitions as they demonstrate an elevation of Africa as a hub of talent, innovation, and exceptional leadership,” Bushiri said.
He went on to explain that the awards “dismantle stereotypes and demonstrates that Africa is home to visionary individuals who are driving positive change, transforming industries, and leaving an indelible mark on society.”
Reacting to Bushiri’s award, Sandeep Kumar, the CEO of AsiaOne Magazine said in a statement according to Malawi24 reports that “Bushiri’s recognition serves as an inspiration for future generations, encouraging them to dream big, think outside the box, and work tirelessly to turn their visions into reality.”
“His blueprint for Goshen City, an ambitious urban city development project with a unified ecosystem, showcases the potential for sustainable growth, innovation, and economic prosperity in Africa,” he added.
