However, he lets us know that although trauma may be devastating when we trust in God it can shape us and grow us. In the scripture, we see the story of the children of Israel and how they allowed their tragedy to scar them, they ended up missing the promised land.
One thing we should not allow is that we need not allow our tragedy to scar us but go through and put it behind us.
