Elevation Church shares this Sunday sermon by Pastor Steven Furtick for April 3 2022 titled “The One Who Seeks… Finds!” where he asks “What if your blessing is right in front of you?” In this sermon, we’re reminded that during difficult seasons, we can either look for reasons to grumble or reasons to hope.
He said that we are actually going to go backwards as we were in the last chapter of the book of Ruth. This is not a Bible study on the whole book of Ruth as what he hopes to do with the help of the Holy Spirit today is lift a principle from this old testament story as a picture that we can then apply a practical new testament principle for our lives.
Steven Furtick said that the Bible does not always say God did something even when it is Him who did it. God led Ruth to the field belonging to Boaz … it doesn’t say that but He did. It didn’t say that Boaz got there when he got there so that Ruth could be there when she was there so that they could meet at this moment. The Bible didn’t say that God was a match maker but he was and you don’t always know that it was God that put a delay in your life so you wouldn’t get there too soon.
