Pastor Terri teaches us in this message about affirmation and the impact it can have in our lives. We have to understand that our voice is the most influential in our lives. We have to be mindful of the kind of words that we speak over our lives because they can actually have a great effect on them. Rather than hindering you, your words can literally guide you to your heart’s desires and your dreams and goals. Why? Because your voice is the most influential voice in your life. If you want to know where your life is headed, listen to the words that are coming out of your mouth. You know, making vision boards and speaking positive words over myself has drastically Changed Many people From the Inside out. Pastor Terri tells us about our experience with affirmation: “I can’t even describe to you how shy and insecure I was and had such a deep-rooted identity of rejection, but I began to learn the power of having a vision and then speaking faith-filled words out of my mouth, and I have literally watched my life move in that direction.
Pastor Terri tells us her daughter experience with vision board “my daughter Cassidy when she was in elementary junior high high school I mean she kept seeing God bring dream After Dream to pass in my life that were on my vision board well when Cassidy was in high school she had a dream of modeling abroad and she made her vision board she put photos of her dreams and goals and some of them were wanting to model in either London England Paris France or Milan Italy now we live near Dallas Texas so you’re like oh Lord she’s dreaming big the girls want a model well Cassidy had not grown up in that industry she was not a well-known model she wasn’t modeling at all in fact she was a competitive cheerleader her whole life but people would always tell her you know you should look into modeling she’s nearly five foot ten she’s beautiful if but she put her favorite fashion models designer Brands all things modeling on the vision board with financial goals physical goals all of this on her board and then she took the vision board and she hung it in her bathroom where she got ready every single morning so she would see it because that’s a vital key and she’s heard me teach this and then she began to just discipline herself to speak to those dreams every every single morning when she’s putting her makeup on it just became a part of her daily schedule and you might be like why why would she do that because God’s word says to call those things that be not as though they already are but that’s not all she began to Take Action Bible also says faith without corresponding action is dead it’s useless so she began eating healthier she started a completely different Fitness routine from what she was used to you know with gymnastics and cheerleading she couldn’t be as muscular for modeling. We have to make sure that our words match our actions.
