In this age we are, every one is looking for an answer. God is calling us to unity and that is specifically a call to the church to unify. The society cannot work if the church cannot work based on standard of God. If we are able to achieve oneness, then the society will have something to mimic.
The greatest chapter on Unity is in Join 17. It is Christ’s call to unity. We see this verse 11, 21, 22. What do we mean by unity?
Biblical Unity is oneness of purpose not sameness of persons. When you have the same goal then you are on your way to biblical unity, However, this biblical unity has to align with God’s will. Therefore, if God is not in the equation, then your unity is in trouble.
