American Actor, Kirk Cameron, Pulls Crowd AL Library Event

American Actor, Kirk Cameron, Pulls Crowd AL Library Event: Actor, evangelist, and television host, Kirk Cameron has recorded success at his recent event.

Kirk Cameron’s “See You at the Library” event, which was initially canceled by the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library System in Alabama but was then allowed to take place at the public library on Saturday, was a tremendous success, according to various media outlets.

The Madison Chapter of Moms for Liberty hosted a book-reading event with a capacity attendance of 225 people.

Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines and Cameron read from their books to parents and children as part of Brave Books’ “See You at the Library Day,” a countrywide initiative at hundreds of libraries across the United States to read and share family-friendly content.

According to his publisher BRAVE Books, it was one of the actor-producer-author’s first stops on his planned national tour of more than 260 libraries in 46 states.

According to the site, a group of protestors attempted to enter the Madison library event, but their efforts to disrupt the story hour were rebuffed by Huntsville police.

The Rock Church in Huntsville volunteered its facilities when the library’s book-reading program was canceled. According to Red State, hundreds of people gathered up after the event in the Madison library to sing songs, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, hear Gaines speak, and hear Cameron read from his Brave Book title, Pride Comes Before The Fall.
