The executive pastor of The Potter’s House at One Church Stephanie Ike has expressed gratitude for the enormous love shown to her and her husband on the occasion of their baby shower.
In a Monday Instagram post, the first-time expectant mother said she was surrounded by love as friends and family gathered Saturday to celebrate with the family at their first baby shower.
“Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude as we look back on our incredible baby shower this past Saturday,” she wrote. “It was a beautiful gathering of friends and family, and we were truly surrounded by an outpouring of love. If there was ever an event that embodied the phrase “surrounded by love,” it was undoubtedly our baby shower.”
Stephanie shared stunning photos of her and her husband dressed in white with her beautiful gown revealing her baby bump. Attached to their clothes were pink tags labeled “Mummy and daddy to be” respectively. Although the baby’s sex was not mentioned in the post, their decoration was predominantly white and baby pink.
The couple who are eager to welcome their baby says they are blessed and humbled to be parents.
“Feeling so blessed and humbled that God has chosen us to be stewards of His precious gift on earth,” she wrote. “We can’t wait to welcome our little one into this world and continue to create cherished memories together.”
The Los Angeles-based Nigerian pastor whose spiritual mentors are Sarah Jakes Robert and her husband Touré Robert, got married to her heartthrob Ifeanyi Okafor on September 4, 2022.
