He made it known that one thing we should understand is that the delay does not mean that God is saying “No”. It is only an indication that it is not yet the right time and that the right time is what he is setting you up for.
In the message, Pastor Osteen points out that there are times when we feel like giving up because we have done all we could. At that point, we are tempted to have the wrong notion that God has abandoned us. He pointed out that God has not given up. God does not abort dreams.
God is called the author and finisher of our faith for a purpose. The dreams and promises he made to us are things that he will never go back or give up on. Although they may be too heavy for us, they are not too heavy for God.
Speaking further, Pastor Joel said that in whatever we are going through, all we may need may be for words of faith to be spoken over us. This is because words have power and are capable of great impact. When all we hear is negativity, it begins to take root in our lives. If there is one thing we have to do, it is to let all the negativity go and not let it take root.
“When those negative thoughts come, telling you it’s too late, just answer back, no, thanks. It’s still going to happen.
He encouraged us that when we are in the face of doubt, negative voices, and people telling you it’s not going to work out, it’s very powerful to answer back with this declaration of faith. It’s still going to happen. In essence, you are telling God: “My hope is in you. I know you’re the all-powerful creator of the universe. ”
Speaking further, he advised that what we do or say in difficult times. These things will determine whether we will see the fulfillment of our destinies. We are not to be like the Israelites who started complaining. Instead, we should not despair because God is just testing us.
Although the lions may be too big and the opposition too strong. Let us always keep in mind that God is in control. New doors are about to open; the right people are about to show up. Your health is going to suddenly turn around. A shift in your finances, your career, where you’re suddenly catapulted, where you never dreamed. What God has in mind is much bigger, better, and more rewarding than what you had in mind.
The best thing we can do while we wait is to get out of our comfort zone and to try new things. One requirement is that you have to be thick-skinned. You can’t get drawn into petty things that will pull you away from your destiny. The trick of the enemy is to get you distracted, focused on what they’re saying. Don’t try to prove to them that you’re OK or worried about what they think. Don’t waste your time trying to win over people that are determined to misunderstand you.
