Here is a message from Joyce Meyer, which is titled, “Less of Me – More of God – Part 1.” The text for the message is from John 3:22-27.
Pastor Joyce teaches us in this message that in everything we do God should be more, when Jesus started baptizing people, people came to John the baptize to tell him that Jesus has more crowd than him. John the baptize has the perfect answer “John answered a man can receive nothing he can claim nothing he can take unto himself nothing except it has been granted to him from heaven – John 3:27. John the baptize must be content to receive the gift which he is given from heaven for there is no other source. So every single one of you has a gift and whatever that is if it’s cleaning toilets you should be satisfied with it, because everybody is needed somewhere.
When we get baptized we all want to know what our gifts are, a secret we should be much more concerned about the fruits, than we are about to give the fruit of the spirit love joy peace, patience, goodness kindness those are the things we should be concerned about and the gifts will manifest.
We should be concerned about the fruits of the Holy Spirit and the gift of God will manifest in our lives and show themselves. We should never be jealous of somebody else’s gift, because God has created us all differently so we are unique. Even if your gift is a little unique God has made every one of us with his own hand and our mother’s womb. We have to know that we’re not a mistake we’re not the wrong we’re not the wrong color we’re not the wrong sex we’re not everybody is exactly what God wants them to be.
We have to learn not to be jealous of anyone’s gift because God gave it to us to enjoy not to be jealous of.
