This is a new sermon by Pastor Cynthia James titled “Look Again” where she teaches that when the world looks at us one way, Jesus calls us to look again. She said that though the world may reject us, Jesus will always accept us and reverse every narrow eye and pang of gossip that comes our way. Dr. Cynthia said we can’t keep our heads down in defeat when Jesus has already redeemed, resurrected, and revived us in His living water. This message is taken from the Scripture, Luke 7:36-50.
She said that the more we love the word the more she studies the word, the more she falls in love with Jesus. Dr. Cynthia James revealed that Luke gives us a story that’s believed was given to him as part of his apostolic ministry when he was traveling and it’s suspected that it was given to him in tech. He gives us a story about the woman who is in a similar passage found in Matthew, Mark and John and so the debate rages on about whether this is the same story just presented differently or if it’s a different woman. She said she suspects it’s a bit different.
