The text for the message is from Numbers 20:6–9. “Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance of the tent of meeting and fell face down, and the glory of the Lord appeared to them. The Lord said to Moses, Take the staff, you and your brother Aaron, and gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock. Somebody say, Speak to that rock. Before their eyes, they need to see you speak, and it means the rock will pour out water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so that their livestock can drink. So Moses took the staff from the Lord’s presence just as he commanded him.”
Pastor Dharius teaches us in this that the enemy is after our consistency. Consistency is really important in anything good that we do, which is why the enemy is trying to stop it in our lives. With consistency, we can achieve amazing results in our lives, and we have to make sure that we are being consistent in everything we do. because consistency compounds great things, and this is why the enemy is after your consistency. When God told Moses to speak to the rock so that they could drink water, he and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock, and Moses said to them, Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock? Then Moses raised his arm and struck The Rock while God said, Speak.” Moses struck; most of us think a PD gives him a break; it was an accident. He struck the rock twice with his staff, but water brushed out and gushed out, and the community and the livestock drank. But the Lord said to Moses and Abram, Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of Israel, you will not bring this community into the land that I give them. We have to know that obeying God is really important, and being consistent is also important, in order for us to get into the land that God has promised us in our lives.
